The Kaarme Mission Statement

Our Mission: Safely Connect students and colleges through search, content, and communication tools provided free of cost.

Background:

Kaarme was founded in 2006 by concerned parents and data modeling specialists from Reuters in New York. They formed a team of technologists, parents, and volunteers from various socioeconomic backgrounds who wanted to expand college opportunities for all students and protect their personal data at the same time.

After analyzing these educational challenges, Kaarme saw similarities with how other markets develop. Kaarme began building models, tools, compelling data and content to help students, colleges, parents, counselors, and coaches in all demographics communicate with one another.

To make college education accessible and to encourage communication between students, colleges, parents, counselors, and coaches, we provide Kaarme's features and content free of charge for all users. We remain independent from standardized test companies and others who make money by selling personal information to third parties.

We are grateful to our users for continued guidance and feedback on how to assist students through the entire high school and college journey. We hope you like what we have accomplished so far.
